Types of Libraries

Reading Report 3

Rubin organizes his discussion of types of libraries using the traditional headings of types of libraries: public, academic, school and special libraries/information centers. The purpose of this reading report is for you to organize his material and your thinking about each type of library. You can use either an outline or a narrative style.

For each type of library, describe its mission/goals, user groups, roles or functions, special features and issues.

Note: there is no one right way to do this report. The purpose is to help you organize your learning about each type of library.
