This class will present a variety of situations in which librarians must be instructors and offer methods and techniques for effective teaching in these settings. Methods such as workshops, group instruction, individualized instruction, discussion groups, etc. will be explored, with appropriate pedagogy and techniques for each. As a Knowledge River course, many examples will come from Hispanic and Native American settings.
