COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

Each student will need access to:

1. at least a '486 based PC or equivalent MacIntosh
2. modem (at least 14,400 baud rate, 28.8 is highly recommended).
3. SLIP/PPP access, or direct access via Ethernet or other network connection
4. graphical WWW browser such as Netscape or Microsoft Explorer

Special Note: Students should know that some of the larger commercial providers do not, as of this writing, permit subscribers to use FTP software.
