This course is going to be conducted as a 'seminar' course. We have a two and a half hour time slot, and meet once a week. My guess is that the class will consist of 8-10 students. I am going to talk and present around topics in the set text, and individual students (sometimes perhaps in groups) will also present. |

There is a set text for this course: Kachigan, Sam Kash [1991], Multivariate Statistical Analysis: A Conceptual Introduction, Radius Press, ISBN 0-942154-91-6 This book is a $20 text with a misleading title. It is very much more the conceptual introduction than the statistical analysis. It's a good book (read the online reviews at Amazon etc.) |
