FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION

Students wishing to apply for financial aid should:

• complete this form
• submit a Statement of Need, not to exceed 500 words, detailing reasons for seeking financial assistance and areas of special interest within information resources and library science
• realize that students receiving financial aid are required to take 9 credits and to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
  
  Students admitted on a provisional basis are not eligible for SIRLS Financial Aid.
  
  Students not willing to take 9 credits should NOT apply for SIRLS Financial Aid.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
An application form must be submitted prior to the deadline for each semester in which you are seeking aid. To be considered for aid, students must submit the items listed above by the following deadlines:

Fall Semester: February 1
Spring Semester: September 1
Summer Sessions: Aid is available only occasionally through SIRLS.
