DigIn

Applying to the DigIn program

DigIn applicants are expected to meet the same admissions criteria as for the SIRLS master’s program, except that Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores are not required for DigIn. Thus, the basic qualification needed for admission to DigIn applicants is a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

Before deciding to apply to DigIn, we encourage applicants to assess both their short- and long-range career goals. As a graduate certificate, DigIn involves six master's level courses that together demand a much greater commitment than many continuing education or professional development programs that focus on immediate training needs.

DigIn may help you prepare for your next digital project, but its real purpose is to help students build lasting careers in digital collections management, and to support emerging leaders in the information professions.

If you have questions about the applications process or would like to obtain more information about DigIn, please contact the UA Outreach College at 520-626-2079, or 800-478-9508, or email digin@email.arizona.edu.
